Archive for Don Pepin Garcia

This cigar is a product of Miami, and I believe it is filled and wrapped with Nicaraguan tobacco. The word on the street is that this is the hottest cigar on the market right now. And that may be true, at least until the CAO America is available in humidors. However, I can’t say that it’s the hottest cigar on my market. The cigar had a beautiful wrapper, wonderful draw, and a great aroma and flavor when first lit. Lots of peppery, cedary spice to it. But, the flavor seemed to drain as the cigar progressed and when I still had about 1/3 left to smoke, it went out on me. So, it didn’t finish particularly well. I can certainly see why people may like it, but at $5.50, I just don’t see the value in the cigar. Over all, I give it an even C.
